Introduction
We are excited to bring this website to you, our patients. In the past two
years we have: added 5,000 square feet to and remodeled our building,
implemented a new computer assisted scheduling, electronic medical records
system (EMR) and telephone-routing (triage) scheme and hired new staff. Our
mission is to remain the “family oriented practice” that we have always been.
We are also aggressively exploring opportunities to reduce waiting times and
other inconveniences.
The services we provide are quite robust.
We treat newborns, infants, children, adults and elders in the full spectrum of
Primary Care (General Medicine). We do gynecologic and breast examinations,
complete physical exam's, along with the diagnosis and management of most
common and not so common medical illnesses. We are affiliated with the Beaumont Hospitals and work closely with scores
of specialists when the need arises. We believe that very close communication
between all of your health care providers is essential to quality medical care.
As you will see further along in this website, we offer a very wide variety of
diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to minimize your need to go to outside
facilities.
Dr. Weisman served as the Information Technology Chair-person for the Beaumont
Physicians (United Physicians, PC). As such, our practice was the first of more
than 190 Beaumont Doctors to implement the Misys Healthcare Systems electronic
medical records system or EMR. This not only sets us apart form 94% of US
doctors who do not yet employ this technology but also improves our ability to
care for you and your family using the newest health care technologies.
All of our Primary Care doctors are Beaumont trained specialists. Our physician expansion was very successful and it has allowed us to offer you many services on site. We also have a General Surgeon, a Physical Medicine
specialist and a Cardiologist (who oversees our cardiovascular lab but does generally see patients at our office), a Podiatrist,
and a Psychologist available to serve you.
